Blade Reference 2013 -Side-by *Lightningkin

Just a temporary reference I made, I'm planning on supporting a couple of amazing artists, so I needed a quick reference. XD

Also, did you know this guy is over ten years old? In second grade I created an imaginary friend who was a light blue kitten with blue eyes. The funny thing is that I didn't remember that until after I had written down the idea that Blade's eye color changes chronologically from blue to red, and that his fur color changes from light blue to dark cerulean!

I've had my charcter Dark for eight years. I made her as an anthro warrior dude wih fire blazing along his/her spine, but that one died to and I made it a cat. Over time, the blue just crept in. Went from being Firago to Firaga to Kyo to Darkkyo. Kept the same personality, body structure, and eyes. Really strange how childhood imaginary friends just stick with you for maybe the rest of your life.
Like with a disney animator with a blue cat imaginary friend named Waldo who tormented the animator to suicide. You can see him in early black and white Disney animations tormenting a farmer.
